Card Game: Last Card Standing

This game recommends that you have 2-5 players as there may not be enough cards to make it a fun game. At the end of the game, you want to be the only player with cards left in your hand.

Setup:

• Shuffle a standard deck of cards.
• Deal the entire deck evenly among all the players. If there are any remaining cards, set them aside.
• Each player arranges their cards face down in a single stack in front of them.

Gameplay:

• The game starts with the player to the left of the dealer.
• On their turn, the active player draws the top card from their stack and places it face up in the middle of the playing area.
• The other players then have to match the suit or rank of the card just played. The first player to do so places their card on top of the card in the middle.
• The game continues clockwise with each player taking turns to play a card. If a player is unable to match the suit or rank of the card in the middle, they must draw a card from the deck (if there is one) or from the draw pile created from the remaining cards from the initial deal.
• If a player plays their last card, they are out of the game and the other players continue playing.
• The game continues until one player has all the cards in the middle and is declared the winner.
• Players must play a card within a set amount of time, which is 5 seconds(players can change this if they so desire). If they don't, they must draw a card.
